From November until just before Easter, our campsite is partly closed for the winter. However, you can camp here all year round.

Due to renovation and maintenance work, only certain areas of the site are open at any one time. Unfortunately, the work being carried out may mean it gets a bit noisy at times.

Drinking water and food

In winter, water is only available from the fresh water tap in the access lane and in the sanitary block. Due to the risk of frost, all water connections elsewhere on the site are turned off. Our supermarket closes at the start of October and reopens the following year at Easter. During the rest of the year, you’ll find shopping facilities in Waging, which are within easy walking distance. (REWE, Edeka, Lidl)

Chemical toilets

Our CamperClean toilet cleaning machine in Sanitary Block 2 is always in operation, as is the chemical toilet for manual emptying.

Sanitary blocks

At least one sanitary block is always open during the winter months. The following sanitary blocks will be available for the 2026/2027 winter months:

until 1 November 2026: Sanitary blocks 1, 2 and 3

from 2 November 2026: Sanitary blocks 2 and 3

from 10 November 2026: Sanitary block 2

During the winter holidays, Sanitary block 3 will also be open from 21 December 2026 to 10 January 2027.

Restaurant

Our restaurant, the “Strandwirt”, is also open in winter. Please check the Strandwirt’s own website for opening hours: www.strandwirt-waging.de
The restaurant will be closed from 2 November to 26 November 2026 and from 8 February to 21 February 2027. During this period, you’ll find a wide range of highly recommended restaurants in the nearby village.

Wellness

Right next to the campsite is the Baumgartner family’s wellness garden, featuring a wellness area, a swimming pond and several saunas. You can find more information on their website: www.wellnessgarten.de

In addition, we offer various treatments in our on-site beauty lounge, which can also be booked by appointment during the winter months.

Reception and Arrival Information

During the winter (November to March), reception is open Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00. Arrivals and departures are also possible outside these hours.

If you arrive after 5.00 pm, you can easily check into your booked pitch yourself, as our barriers remain open at all times during the off-season. Please also note our quiet hours from 10.00 pm to 7.00 am. If you have not made a booking and arrive after 5.00 pm, you will find instructions on what to do in this situation in the display case at reception.

Please note our adjusted opening hours during the Christmas period, as shown on the notice at reception.

Entertainment

We only offer entertainment during the summer and Whitsun holidays.
