Baroque Museum

Baroque in the Strandkurhaus

In 2006, the Sebastian Schuhbeck Baroque Museum was opened in the Strandkurhaus, making one of the most important collections of Baroque art accessible to the public.

Exhibits from aristocratic, ecclesiastical and peasant collections and from renowned painters and sculptors are presented in ten rooms covering over 400 square meters of exhibition space. Sebastian Schuhbeck’s baroque museum is now one of the best between Munich and Salzburg.

Guided tours are possible by prior arrangement with Mr. Copp.
