Fishing on Lake Waging and Lake Taching
Lakes Waging and Taching are a true angler’s paradise. They are home to non-predatory fish such as roach, rudd and carp, as well as predatory fish including zander, eel, lake trout, pike and catfish. The pike can grow to a length of up to 1.30 metres, whilst catfish can reach up to two metres.
Boat hire, fishing permits and equipment available on the campsite
If you’d like to go fishing, you can, for example, hire a boat and buy a fishing permit right at the campsite.
